"Structural Adjustment of Employees & Enterprises in the context of the economic crisis"

Description

The Integrated Structural Adjustment Plans for Enterprises included specific actions linked to predefined directions and planned changes in the organization of each enterprise, with particular emphasis on areas such as: Optimizing the use of resources Improvement of environmental management c) Enhancing extroversion the development of models and practices for the adequate preparation of staff for the protection of businesses and endangered jobs and for the safeguarding of jobs of specific groups of workers. Expenditure for the implementation of the programme was to be co-financed by the European Union (European Social Fund) and national resources (SAE of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security), under Thematic Axis 2, Priority Axes 4, 5 & 6: ‘Strengthening the Adaptability of Human Resources and Enterprises’ of the Operational Programme ‘Human Resources Development’ 2007 – 2013. Beneficiaries were companies that employed 50 or more workers and planned to implement changes and restructuring and adaptation measures, which will have serious reshuffles and impacts on their business and working environment. In total, the beneficiaries amounted to 24,000 employees and the total budget was 76,000,000 euros.
