The web portal http://gaec.topographiki.gr provides citizens and institutions with:
the ability to search and view information related to the data
Soil for respecting and adhering to good environmental conditions (GAEC).
The geoportal enables dynamic viewing of any land cover elements desired by the good:
• Native shrubby vegetation
• Grassed grooves (irrigating or draining)
• Barriers
• Native trees
• Terraces
• Mounds
• Natural shrubs and trees
• Land with terraces
• Natural slopes
• Dry stone walls
As well as the reference islands of the IACS parcels.
In addition, the user may display on the same screen environmentally sensitive areas such as:
• NATURA Areas & Agricultural Lands within NATURA
• Mountainous and disadvantaged areas
• Vulnerable zones
• Grasslands
• Rare vegetation areas and wildlife shelters
• Ecotypes
• Lakeside, Riverside, Coastal & Forest Districts
• Nitrate Pollution Areas
• Soil relief (gradients & orientations)
