College Sectors — Department of Loiret
Description
The dataset contains the recruitment sectors of the public colleges of the Département du Loiret.
**Collection context**
In accordance with the Education Code, the Department determines the recruitment sectors of colleges. A true territorial network, it takes account of changes in the number of staff and conditions for the construction and rehabilitation of colleges.
Each student parent can now visit http://www.geoloiret.com/ to identify his or her child’s attachment college according to his/her address.
Sectorisation changes are carried out in consultation with the departmental departments of National Education, colleges, parents of pupils, local authorities and the Department of Loiret.
**Collection method**
The sectors were created by grouping municipalities from the IGN Topo® DB.
For municipalities that are divided into several sectors, the boundary of these sectors was created using the road sections of the IGN Topo® BD.
