Ortho-air photos of the city of Vantaa
Description
Almost every year, the Measuring Department commissions mapping aerial photography from different parts of the city. These have been done for the maintenance of the maps and for monitoring the state of the environment. If necessary, ortho-pictures will be made from these descriptions to the city’s internal GIS. The terrain resolution of the orthographs is usually 10 cm, but they do not cover the entire area of the city.
The orthograph series covering the entire Vantaa area are from 1954, 1976, 1986, 1998, 2001, 2004, 2007, 2009, 2011 and 2013.
The resolution of the images is 20-25 cm in the terrain.
Available via the WMS service (years: 1954, 1976, 1986, 2011 and 2013), requires an agreement with the data producer.
