First records of Simulium (E.) petricolum (Rivosecchi), Simulium (N.) Bavaricum Seitz, Adler and Simulium (N.) oligotuberculatum (Knoz) (Diptera: Simuliidae) in Austria

It is reported for the first time on the occurrence of Simulium (E.) petricolum, Simulium (N.) Bavaricum and Simulium (N.) oligotuberculatum in Austria. The material documented here comes from stays in the Zillertal, Tyrol and could also be collected as part of the “international Fountain Weeks”, which were organised by the National Park Administration of the Gesäuse National Park.
