Type of seabed substrate Spanish waters
Description
This dataset represents the continuous spatial distribution of different types of seafloor substrate.
The area covered by the data provided covers the entire extent of Spanish waters in the five established Marine Demarcations.
It is a representation in polygons, in which each polygon is characterized by its area, perimeter, type of substrate and origin of the data.
The geographical information collected is stored in a spatial database generated by the IEO Marine GIS Gupe (IDEO).
