BFD200 - BFD200: Site typing
Description
The soil area data at a scale of 1:200,000 (BFD200) provide an overview of the distribution of soils, soil-forming substrates and soil function-related evaluations for the entire state area of Rhineland-Palatinate. The near-surface subsurface is depicted to a depth of two metres. Documentation of methods:Soil data can be used to exclude areas that have extreme site conditions in terms of water, air and nutrient balance as well as base supply.
