REDIAM. WMS HIC 1210 Annual vegetation on accumulated marine debris
Description
WMS service corresponding to Habitat of Non-Priority Community Interest 1210 characterized by annual plant communities adapted to salinity and to the contributions of nitrogenous materials (halonitrophic) that colonize the areas of beaches where the waves deposit organic remains, mainly of plant origin. They develop, therefore, on sandy or pebble substrates, which are colonized by plants adapted to nitrogenous substances from the decomposition of organic remains mainly from algae and underwater phanerogams, which are also tolerant to the high concentrations of salts from the evaporation of salt water and the decomposed plant tissues themselves.
