MSFD2018 – D6C2: Spatial extent and distribution of physical pressures disturbing the bottom
Description
This layer was created as part of the 2018 EEB DCSMM assessment for Descriptor 6. It is the fusion of the different layers of indicators related to criterion D6C2 for the MRS considered. The activities considered to be sources of physical disturbance are: coastal development, marine aggregate extraction, dredging, disposal of dredged material, anchoring, aquaculture and bottom fishing.
