Coastal monitoring: phycotoxins
Description
Data on phycotoxins in the marine environment have been developed under the WFD. There are various toxins produced by algae (lipophilic, amnestic, paralyzing).
Quadrige brings together the main networks for monitoring the quality of the coastal marine environment participating in the WFD, including for chemical data:
REPHY: PHYtoplankton and phycotoxin monitoring network,
The RSL: Lagoon Monitoring Network that carries out both biological and chemical monitoring on Mediterranean lagoons,
There are also several regional surveillance networks, health surveillance networks such as networks operated by partners for a specific purpose (Maritime Ports Network for example).
