Description
Ecological connection zones (evz) are areas or structures that should allow connection, migration and exchange of species between nature areas. They are often elongated wet and/or dry landscape elements along dikes, watercourses, roads, rail and waterways.
This geographic dataset contains the evz as a line object with information about its realisation and is called basic map NNB/EVZ (NNB = Nature Network Brabant). The realisation information comes from water boards. The location of the line objects follows the decision-making in the Regulation space of the search areas for ecological connection zones (with exceptions in Brabantse Delta water authority see below). These search areas are flat objects and form a zone of 25 meters on both sides of the evz line object. This geographic dataset is based on decision-making by the Space Regulation.
