Proficiency test for immission measurement 2011
Description
The results of this interlaboratory test are summarised in the report ‘Ringversuch zur Immissionsmessung 2011’. The competence in measuring nitrogen oxides (NO and NO2) and carbon monoxide (CO) was tested. In addition, a comparison of suitability-tested measuring instruments (according to ÖNORM EN 14211:2005 or ÖNORM EN 14626:2005) and the predecessor series was carried out for NO and NO2. The results of all 10 participating organisations were subjected to the same statistical evaluation procedures as foreseen for the EQASs of the European Reference Laboratories: according to the ‘Protocol for intercomparison exercises’, AQUILA document N37. Since February 2010, the Federal Environment Agency has been operating an interlaboratory test facility for immission measurements, at which interlaboratory tests on different air pollutants are carried out at regular intervals.
