Description
The German Library Statistics (DBS) is the national statistics of the German library system and contains statistical key figures. It includes public libraries, scientific libraries, as well as specialized scientific libraries. More information can be found at [DBS](https://www.bibliotheksstatistik.de/).
This dataset contains the following information on special libraries in Bavaria 2022:
Complete collection of monographs and periodicals (printed / paper edition), 1. Total holdings of digital media (excluding periodicals), 2. Total stock of Open Access publications, total stock of AV media, 1. Complete collection Manuscripts and Rara, 2. Total stock of maps and plans, 3. Total stock of microforms, 4. Total inventory of advances and discounts - number, 5. Total inventory of preliminaries and estates - scope, 6. Total holdings of grades, 7. Total stock of special editions, 8. Total stock of newspaper clippings, 9. Total stock - other materials, total stock - type of other materials , 1. Total inventory - access monographs and periodicals (print editions) for calendar year, 2. Departure monographs and periodicals (print editions) for calendar year, 3. Access Digital Media for calendar year, 4. Discontinuation of digital media for calendar year, 5. Access to additional materials for calendar year, 6. Departure of further materials for calendar year, periodicals and newspapers (paper edition), periodicals and newspapers (digital edition), 1. Lfd. held databases
Note: Due to the pandemic, the data for the reporting years 2020/2021/2022 are only comparable to a limited extent with those of previous years!
