Regional link and development axis in the course of regional link axes (formed)

Description

Objective in the LEP and objective (see glossary) in the regional plan, spatial planning instruments characterised by a bundling of transport and supply strands (band infrastructure) and a sequence of settlement concentrations of varying densities. Depending on the nature of the task, connection and development axes are distinguished. Regional connecting axes are important axes throughout the country that reflect the spatial interconnections of the Saxon condensation areas and upper centres with the upper centres and condensation areas of neighbouring federal states and states as well as the integration into European networks. The network of interregional link axes is supplemented by a network of regional link and development axes, which mainly fulfil order functions in the compaction areas, and mainly development functions in rural areas.
