Chart datum for the German Bight 2026 - WMS
Description
SKN-Fläche Nordsee 2026 is a surface representation of chart datum and is a resource for reductions of depths from hydrographic survey data and for the production of nautical charts. The data set covers the sea area, including mudflats and estuaries, where chart datum (SKN) is approximately the local lowest astronomical tide (LAT). The chart datum in the tidally influenced rivers is defined separately. The reference surface is based on chart datum definitions at tide gauge locations as defined for the year 2026.
