Dataset for rainfall washoff of malathion
Description
This is a dataset of malathion washoff data from experiments performed using a rainfall simulator. Two types of malathion - a technical (off-the shelf insecticide) and an analytical grade - were used in this study. They were applied to either concrete or asphalt coupons and allowed to dwell on the surface for 1, 6, or 24 hours. Artificial rainfall was then applied at an intensity of 1 or 2.5 in/hour and rainfall runoff samples collected an analyzed for malathion over the course of an hour.
