Description

A surface hydrographic element is a surface unit containing a superficial aquatic environment: — areas covered with permanent or non-permanent fresh water, — areas covered with permanent or non-permanent salt water, the glaciers, neved. and whose characteristics (attributes) are homogeneous. A surface element is located by one side. Some attributes are managed by the IGN: Nature, type. A hydrographic entity is broken down into surface hydrographic elements.
