El Servico WMS (Web Map Service) de Zonas de Calidad Diferenciada - Productos Pesqueros (Pescados, Moluscos, Crustáceos) permite la visualización y consulta de las zonas geográficas disponibles para la familia de productos Productos Pesqueros (Pescados, Moluscos, Crustáceos) de los mapas de Calidad Diferenciada, generados por el Ministerio de Agricultura y Pesca, Alimentación y Medio Ambiente (MAPAMA), correspondientes a una cartografía a nivel nacional sobre las familias de productos de las áreas geográficas que abarcan las Denominaciones de Origen Protegidas (DOP) y las Indicaciones Geográficas Protegidas (IGP).
The Protected Designations of Origin (PDO) and Protected Geographical Indications (PGI) constitute the system used in our country for the recognition of a differentiated quality, a consequence of its own and differential characteristics, due to the geographical environment in which the raw materials are produced, the products are made, and the influence of the human factor that participates in them.
The differentiated quality maps only include those products with PDO and PGI that have the approval of their regulation by the European Union.
