WMS — Hazardous Erosion Cards Free State of Saxony
Description
In recent years, new data bases have been developed, which required a current assessment of the risk of erosion. Compared to the existing erosion hazard maps, spatially differentiated and updated erosion hazard maps are now available. The following data bases were incorporated into the present maps. They must be taken into account when using and interpreting the erosion hazard maps: Ground map in scale 1: 50,000 (BK50) Source: Saxon State Office for the Environment, Agriculture and Geology (LfULG) 2020; Digital terrain model in 5 m grid (DGM5), generalised from DGM2 Source: Geobase information and surveying Saxony (GeoSN) 2012; Precipitation series from 2001 to 2017 Source: German Weather Service (DWD) 2019
