Classified road network Saxony

Description

This data series describes the inter-local road network of the Free State of Saxony. This includes the road classes Bundesautobahn, Bundesstraße, Staatstraße and Kreisstraße. The data source is the road information bank TT-SIB of the Free State of Saxony. The road network is divided into nodes/zero points, sections and stations. The stationing in the road network takes place in sections from network node to network node, i.e. each section starts at a network node or zero point and ends at a network node or zero point of the supra-local road network. Network nodes are assigned at the beginning and end of a road, at intersections of classified roads, to countries and building authority boundaries. The stationing takes place at meter distances. The network is continuously updated. The districts or district-free cities are responsible for district roads. The data can be submitted in file format (External interface of the TT-SIB (ESS), OKSTRA interface, in MapInfo or Shape format).
