Areas to be renatured in rivers SRCE-TVB
Description
The spaces to be renatured "river", by definition, are by default streams or sections of streams with a strahler rank greater than 2 supplemented by the river corridors identified in the 2006 SRTVB, which are identified neither as biodiversity reservoirs nor as river corridors in the SRCE-TVB. These are areas with insufficient physico-chemical or hydromorphological qualities to satisfactorily ensure the transit or sustainability of species belonging to watercourses. These are mainly rivers with problems of chronic pollution and / or standardization and trivialization of habitas caused by thresholds, dams, mineralized banks and excessive rectification of meanders.
