Description
The programme “Sachsens Biological Diversity 2030” foresees natural forest development at 10 percent of the state forest. On the basis of the previously designated use-free forest areas in the public forest, the Sachsenforst State Enterprise (SBS) provides a spatial data stock called “NWE10 Sachsen”, which contains processed material data on these areas. Wood floor areas are understood here as well as non-wood floor areas serving the forest. The areas may have a different legal background (e.g. rest area national park, core zone biosphere reserve, natural forest cell according to § 29(3) SächsWaldG, nature development area in the nature reserve, national natural heritage with natural forest development).
