RFID reader system

Description

The RFID reader system is part of the rolling stock monitoring equipment. Effective use of recording equipment data requires that rolling stock must be able to be equipped with a remotely readable RFID tag in accordance with ISO/IEC18000-63. The RFID identification of rolling stock shall be read at a height between 500 mm and 1100 mm from the back of the rail. The RFID reader system shall be identified by name, system, model, manufacturer, date of commissioning, location and status of operation of the central processing unit (in use, not in use, not known), location name, location track identification code, line-kilometre location and line number related to the location. The data cover railways owned by the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency. The data source system is the Track Object Management Application (RATKO) of the Track Infrastructure Information Management System.
