Development plan Volksdorf 46 Hamburg

Description

The development concept is essentially based on a further development of the landscape planning and urban development report commissioned by the administration in 2015. This had identified the areas between Buchenkamp, Tonradsmoor and Eulenkrugstraße, due to the comparatively small restrictions as housing potential, and presented a mass study for a possible future development of the land at Ferck’s farm with up to 60 residential units and a facility for dementia patients. Such development can be continued on the south following areas in comparable urban typologies up to Eulenkrugstraße. The planning legal admissibility of the planned public housing of refugees in the south-eastern area is to be limited in time in the development plan. The remaining areas to the east shall remain undeveloped.
