Habitats areas HWRM-RL 2. cycle
Description
The flood risk management guideline (HWRM-RL) 2. Cycle 2016 - 2021 identified potentially affected fauna-flora-habitat areas (FFH) for the flood load cases HQoften, HQ100, HQextrem. The EC Directive 92/43/EEC on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora (Fauna Flora Habitats Directive, Habitats Directive) requires each Member State to designate areas for a coherent ecological network of protected areas.
