Geo Biodiversity Day 2010 Seidlwinkltal
Description
On the occasion of the International Year of Biodiversity, the GEO Biodiversity Day took place simultaneously in all Austrian national parks on 29 May 2010 as part of the Biodiversity Week. The aim of this natural inventory within 24 hours was to collect as much scientific data as possible in the six different landscape areas, but also to provide visitors with fascinating insights into the often unknown living environment of their respective national park. In the Hohe Tauern National Park, the Seidlwinkltal was the focus. Under the motto species-rich, an extensive program attracted: the 300 visitors were able to see the researchers from different disciplines in their exciting work over their shoulders.
