Central places according to LAROP
Description
Representation of the central locations defined in the Land Regional Planning Programme. The regional spatial planning programme specifies and concretises these in the Upper Austria. ROG 1994 formulated goals, addresses current challenges, formulates measures for the whole country as well as functional areas of action and thus forms the strategic framework for spatial planning and spatial development in Upper Austria. Central places serve as locations for locally important institutions of economic, social and cultural life and ensure essential supply functions for the respective catchment area. Specific tasks have been defined for the central locations.
