Geomorphological Map of the Continental Margin of Influence in Andalusia
Description
Geomorphological map of the continental margin of influence in the territorial scope of Andalusia. It comes from the Geomorphological Map of Spain and the continental margin (1: 1,000,000) prepared by the IGME in collaboration with the IEO and several Spanish universities and is integrated into REDIAM. On this map, a cut with a limit on the Andalusian coastline has been made in order to individualize the information corresponding exclusively to the Andalusian continental margin, and this cut has been georeferenced to obtain a comparable raster cartography or that can serve as basic information in the marine environment. Physiographic units, surface sediments classified with a textural criterion and geomorphological units of endogenous, exogenous and mixed morphogenesis are represented. The information is presented on a bathymetric basis and illustrated with toponymy.
