Description
Baden-Württemberg is a geologically and scenically diverse country. This is the result of hundreds of millions of years of geological development. Layers and rocks from almost all periods of the Earth’s history form the underground on which we live and which we use. The main task of the Department of Geology of the LGRB is the geoscientific survey and documentation of this subsurface.
