Register-based career paths – change of status from 2010 to 2023 by labour market status before and after the change of status

Description

The register-based employment history is a full survey of employment careers, which is carried out by evaluating the administrative and register data used for register counting or coordinated employment statistics. This results not only in non-overlapping, but also in seamless employment careers for all persons who have ever appeared in one of the data sources used – even if they have never had a main residence in Austria. The concepts of coordinated employment statistics were adopted as far as possible. This dataset presents the transitions from one labour market status to another (change of status) of persons aged 15 years and over in the period from 2010 to 2023. Changes within a gainful employment with the same employer – i.e. a change from apprentice to employee, for example, or a change from full-time to part-time – are excluded.
