The data set was compiled for the purpose of uniform documentation of the bearing areas for the regional water survey concept of the Directorate-General for Waterways and Shipping, Branch Office North (DGWS, ASt. North is created. The attribute tables contain information about the responsible bearing office, bearing frequency, bearing data density and bearing methods.
