Forest fire protection in Saxony — punctual objects
Description
The data set contains the punctual objects for forest fire protection in the Free State of Saxony. These are mainly solvent oaks, suction points, fire alarms, device depots, hydrants, observation points and fire alarm towers etc. Further information may be available for each object. For example, information on the size and capacity of extinguishing ponds, type (view tower, radio tower, fire alarm tower, etc.), height and owner of towers or equipment depots etc. The forest fire protection includes preventive measures to prevent the emergence and spread of forest fires. The data form the basis for the forest fire protection maps 1:25,000 and 1:100,000 in Saxony.
