Dataset of the watersheds of France métropolitaine BD Topage® version 2023
France is divided into 12 large catchment areas, known as river basin districts. These are:
— from the Artois-Picardie basin,
— the Rhine-Meuse basin,
— the Seine-Normandie basin,
— the Loire-Bretagne basin,
— from the Adour-Garonne basin.
— the Rhône-Mediterranean basin,
— from the Corsican basin,
— the Guadeloupe Basin,
— from the Martinique Basin,
— from the Guiana Basin,
— from the Reunion Basin,
— from the Mayotte Basin
The river basin boundaries do not correspond to the administrative boundaries.
