Human medicines covered by public health insurance in Slovakia according to the ATC group of medicinal products, diagnosis and sex of the insured person 2019
Description
Statistical outputs provide a detailed overview of the consumption of prescribed human medicines in the territory of the Slovak Republic, which has been approved by the competent health insurance company as part of the provision of health care according to the ATC group, the diagnosis and the sex of the insured person. They thus constitute an important supporting source for the analysis of data on the consumption of medicinal products. Methodological differences in the collection and processing of data from this source do not make it possible to compare the outputs with the outputs from statistical surveys L (MZ SR) 1-04 and L (MZ SR) 2-04, which are a comprehensive picture of the consumption of medicines in the Slovak Republic and are a source of international comparisons.
