Remediation of hydropower
Description
The dataset contains information on the existing hydropower plants in the canton as well as on the state of play of measures to address the negative effects of the plants on fish ascent and descent. The data model is based on the minimal spatial data model “Planning and reporting of hydropower remediation” (ID 192, version 1.2). Note: In the canton of Basel-Stadt there are no facilities requiring refurbishment with regard to Schwall-Sunk. In the cantonal area, the relocation budget is significantly affected by the Birsfelden power plant only in the Rhine, and rehabilitation measures are being developed under the auspices of the Federal Office of Energy SFOE.
