Description
The dataset contains all actively public documents that form part of project EIAs and requests for exemption from the project EIA obligation. Both completed and ongoing project EIAs and requests for exemptions can be found in the project-m.e.r. map layer. Project areas were drawn up and can be found on this map layer. However, not all project areas can be easily registered (e.g. line infrastructures, groundwater extractions, etc.). If the outline could not be drawn specifically, the municipal boundaries of the municipality in which the project area is located were used as a (too wide) demarcation. As a result, when clicking on a specific lot, other project EIA procedures can also be shown for which the entire municipality was entered as a demarcation, because the actual contour of those other procedures could not be drawn precisely. Environmental impact assessment (EIA) aims to identify the possible effects of projects on the environment and on human health so that they are taken into account in an equal way (as other aspects and interests) in the preparation of and decision-making on these projects.
