Floods — Water depth HQ100
Description
The map service (WMS group) represents the data of the flood hazard map and the flood risk map of the Saarland waters.:The HQ 100 flood hazard map represents the extent of flooding (flooding areas and water depth) in events that can occur in the statistical mean every 100 years, i.e. a flood scenario of medium probability. The water depth is shown in the hazard maps in five stages with different shades of blue. The same steps in yellow shades characterise areas behind flood protection systems. The aim is to draw attention to the residual risk behind dams and dikes.Attributes: CLASS: Depth class (1-5, in protected areas 10-15) TIEFE: Depth class (text description) Gewaesser: Water name GEWKZ: Water code according to LAWA; Scale limitation: Min is omitted, Max 1:3000.
