4. Priority areas for action implementation — Bird species according to Annex I EU Birds Directive
Description
For selected bird species according to Annex I of the EU Birds Directive, for which Brandenburg has a special conservation responsibility, priority areas for the implementation of measures to ensure or develop favourable conservation conditions are presented. Full EU Bird Protected Areas (SPAs) were selected as a priority area. The priority areas for the implementation of measures were identified from all the species known in the LfU with special responsibility of Brandenburg in SPA. The implementation of measures in the priority areas contributes in a particular way to the conservation of the occurrences in Brandenburg and to the improvement of the conservation status of the species.
