Description
This dataset contains day updates, geo-referenced information on all buildings, apartments and building entrances in the city of Zurich, according to the GWR data model.
Purpose: The building and housing register of the City of Zurich (GWZ), which is maintained by Statistics City of Zurich (GWZ), forms the data base for the legally provided data provided by the Federal Office of Statistics (BFS), which maintains the Federal Buildings and Housing Register (GWR).
The GWR contains the most important basic data on buildings and apartments in Switzerland. It is used for statistical, research and planning purposes and serves the cantons and municipalities for the execution of legal tasks.
