Description

2,246 hospitalisations were recorded in the long-term care units (department code 60), with an average stay of 21.2 days (Table 5.3.15). The most frequent main diagnostic categories of post-acute long-term hospitalisations were "Diseases and disorders of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue" (41.6%) and "Diseases and disorders of the nervous system" (15.5%) (Table 5.3.16).
