Air measuring network Baden-Württemberg
Description
The Baden-Württemberg air measuring network is used for long-term monitoring of air pollutants. The long-term measurement series allow statements about the temporal development of air pollution. The number of measuring points and their spatial arrangement in the country ensure comprehensive monitoring of air quality. The following air pollutants are measured at the stations of the air measuring network, depending on the location and local immission situation: — Nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) – particulate matter PM10 and PM2,5 – Ozone (O3) – Sulphur dioxide (SO2) – Carbon monoxide (CO) – Benzo(a)pyrene (B(a)P) as a total content in the PM10 fraction – Lead (Pb) as a total content in the PM10 fraction – Kadmium (Cd) as a total content in the PM10 fraction – Nickel (Ni) as a total content in the PM10 fraction 24 measuring stations in the urban background and 2 measuring stations in the rural background (status: 2013). In addition to the mandatory air measurement network in Baden-Württemberg, LUBW operates 2 measuring stations on behalf of third parties (status: 2014). | exam: Subject to the quality requirements of 39.
