Description
Network with length measurement is a refined railway data product, which means that it is generated from a number of already existing data products. The type of processing is a so-called homogenisation. The purpose of homogenisation is to create distributions (distances) that are homogeneous with respect to two or more attributes from different data products (also called phenomena types).The data products underlying the data product are:Bandel, kilometreboard, Track Up/Ned/Single, Track Number, Length Measurement Part, Location, Connection and Nod.The data product covers the part of the railway network that has length measurement.The data product is suitable when users need access to a uniform length measurement network that other systems can use to refer phenomena via kilometration.
