Lidar datasets of the city of Helsinki
Description
Helsinki's laser scanning datasets are a series of laser point clouds covering the entire city area. Laser scanning data is three-dimensional point-like data describing the ground and objects on the ground.
Laser scanning data can be used, for example, in the formation of terrain models, the production of contours, zoning and studies following changes in the natural environment.
Helsinki's laser scanning datasets are published as LAZ files by grid in the ETRS-GK25 magazine division. The coordinate system is ETRS-GK25 (EPSG:3879) and the height system is N2000.
Two versions of the dataset will be published, a version containing "**all points**" and a "**surface**" containing only the points describing the ground.

The material is available for download in the Helsinki map service. Data on bowling in 2021, 2017 and 2015 are available.
