Housing production in Espoo by type of dwelling and type of dwelling by area since 2005. The dataset contains information about completed apartments in Espoo.

Data for 1997-2014 can be found in the data Espoo: Dwelling production by type of building and type of dwelling by area 1997-2014.

Notes to be taken into consideration

1) Types of kitchen:

• k = kitchen
• kk = kitchenette
• kt = cooking space
• tk = kitchen-living room

2) The regional boundaries are the regional boundaries according to the statistical regional division of Espoo on 1 January 2006. See Espoo statistics and studies.

3) The service districts consist of the following subareas:

• Service District 1 = Subarea 1
• Service District 2 = Subarea 2
• Service District 3 = Subarea 3
• service district 4 = subarea 4
• Service District 5 = Subarea 5 + Subarea 6 + Subarea 7

4) Target population and cropping: Number of completed dwellings and area of dwellings.

5) Reliability of data: Information on housing production is obtained through the building supervision information system.

6) Time series: The data for Espoo have been available since 2005.
