Description
Zoning 1/2/3 is a parameter used in the calculation of personal housing aids (AL and APL). It is also used to determine the rent ceilings for social housing (PLAI and PLUS).
An agglomeration-scale population criterion was initially used to define zoning 1/2/3 in 1978. Since then, successive revisions have made it possible to adapt this zoning, in particular by creating zone 1bis in Ile-de-France.
