WFS Landscape Conservation Area
Description
Landscape protected areas are designated according to ยง 26 NatSchG for the preservation of the natural diversity, peculiarity and beauty of the landscape. Landscape protected areas also serve to preserve, develop or restore the performance of the natural resources as well as to preserve or improve the usability of natural goods. This instrument can also safeguard areas of particular importance for the recovery of the general public and establish buffer zones for nature reserves. The lower nature conservation authorities are responsible for the designation of landscape protected areas by ordinance. Please note the following information on the completeness and quality of the data provided: due to inaccuracies in the acquisition of technical objects, there are occasional non-valid geometries according to OGC Schema validation. Since GIS servers such as ArcGIS server, GeoServer or UMN MapServer have to use/process ever more accurate data bases, the inspection routine is always further developed and warns in the tolerance range as well as in the topological recording of inaccuracies (e.g. by third-party software). This means that geometries can no longer be displayed or recorded. The objected geometry errors include self-intersections (self-intersections) or double bases. Therefore, the LUBW cannot guarantee the completeness and stability of the Download Service (WFS). If necessary, please check the completeness on the basis of the presentation services also offered (WMS).
