Tuscany Region - Coordinate Conversion Software
Description
The software 'ConveRT_gb' allows the conversion of the cartographic coordinates from the West Fused ConvertRTGauss-Boaga system to the 32 Fused UTM-ETRF2000 system using the official "regular pitch grids" elaborated by the Military Geographic Institute.
‘ConveRT-gb’ was created by the Region in collaboration with the Interregional Centre for Information, Geographical and Statistical Systems and the Military Geographical Institute to facilitate the comparison of cartographic data and the adoption of the new national reference system imposed by current legislation (new National Geodetic Reference System ETRF2000, established by Decree of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers of 10 November 2011, ‘Adoption of the National Geodetic Reference System’, Official Gazette No 48 of 27 February 2012 – Ordinary Supplement No 37).
'ConveRT' is made available to users in "license of use", according to the terms and conditions contained in the License itself and complete with User Manual. Both the License and the Manual are present in the folder where the software is installed.
