Description
The Geological Service SH deals with hydrogeological uptake. In 2003, as part of the implementation of the EC Water Framework Directive, thematic maps for the first and more detailed description of groundwater were drawn up. The theme maps of this service show the spread and thickness of the aquifers, the protective effect of the top layers, as well as the hydrostratigraphy of the binding top layers and the near-surface water conductor.
