Description

The WMS (Web Map Service) called "Agricultural parcels for the application of sewage sludge, year 2018" allows the visualisation and consultation of the data set representing the location of the agricultural parcels where sludge produced in sewage treatment plants treating domestic or urban waste water and in other sewage treatment plants treating waste water of similar composition, as well as the sewage sludge from septic tanks and other similar installations for the treatment of waste water, regulated in Council Directive 86/278/EEC of 12 June 1986 on the protection of the environment and, in particular, of the soil, in the use of sewage sludge in agriculture and in Royal Decree 1310/1990 of 29 October 1990 regulating the use of sewage sludge in the agricultural sector. These data were obtained from the National Sludge Registry, the content of which was established in Order AAA/1072/2013 of 7 June 2013 on the use of sewage sludge in the agricultural sector.
