Sky brightness in nocturnal hours (planes)
Description
The degree of sky brightness in nocturnal hours is displayed. Light nuisance is connected to area characteristics to do justice to darkness as well as quality. The surface-covering values for celestial brightness (in millicandelas per square meter) were generated based on interpolation of the summarized original measurement point data and reclassification. As an indication, a sky brightness of less than 0.50 mcd/m2 corresponds to the sky brightness as measured on the central part of the Veluwe.
